This is not troubling. It's like asking: If I took away your means of communication and information, but let you have TV or sex, WOULD YOU DO IT?!!?!?!?1ß1111111
It's not really an indication of anything, except that some people prefer internet to TV. And sex to internet. So TV < Internet < Sex.
That is correct. However, I still think the percentage of men and women who would tend to favor the internet over sex is interesting because it does show that the web can compensate for many things, maybe too many...
Besides the essential use of the internet for professional purposes and as an information source, if one tends to dwell too long in Second life, Social networking websites, online chatting, and internet dating, why bother leaving home or the office?
What I am trying to say is if one would choose a tool over a physical need such as food, water, sleep, human contact, or sex (though varying in importance levels), one can only be bewildered...
